Animal Planet's "Last Chance Highway"
Lucas made his debut on the Ryman stage opening for the legendary George Jones and received a standing ovation in the mother church of country music. He has appeared on The Today Show, Inside Edition, The Daily Buzz, Fox 17, Tennessee Mornings, Daytime TV and more to promote his TV show “Last Chance Highway” which was watched in over 30 million homes each week on Animal Planet. Lucas starred in the show as country singer saving dogs, and also penned and performed the theme song for the show, which Discovery Network released to iTunes. He also wrote “Give A Damn”, the theme song for the show on GAC TV called “Tom’s Wild Life”, in which Lucas made an appearance.

Being a huge Military supporter, each Memorial Day, Lucas joins the Wrangler National Patriot tour in Afghanistan; consequently, Wrangler picked up his song “Medal Of Honor” as the official theme song for the program! Lucas is the official spokesperson for Guardian Angles for Soldiers’ Pet, an organization that places soldiers’ animals in foster homes while they are deployed overseas.

The new self-titled Lucas Hoge album recently hit stores and digital outlets in August 2012. Lucas penned 13 of the songs on his latest CD, including “Have I Done Something” which is currently climbing the charts at Christian Country radio. The song also inspired his ICM Award Best Male Vocalist nomination for 2012. His country single, “Do What Makes You Feel Good” debuted at #77 with Lucas being in the top most added artists on the country charts that week
